A Telecom Sales person must have immense knowledge of the products the organisation is selling in the market and the audience they are targeting. Telecommunications sales experience is preferred though not a pre-requisite.

The person should have an aggressive personality, strong selling skills and the aptitude to convince customers of the products. A self-motivated individual who is confident about the products and project the same to the customers with a lot of passion and sincerity is an essential feature of this job profile.

The person should also have a friendly personality, have excellent oral and written communication skills and should possess a BA/BS degree though not a pre-essential. A diploma holder with a few years of experience will also qualify.

Compensation packages are competitive and growth prospects are wide ranging and dependent on the individual’s efforts and successful track record.

Software Engineer

A Software Engineer could be working in applications or systems development work areas. These individuals have a range of functions to perform. To begin with, they have to analyze the needs of the users. The software engineer has to work on the design, implementation, and deployment of the relevant applications and various software modules and associated tools.

They have to verify the scalability and ensure the reliability of the components and processes, support the deployment as also the after sales maintenance.

Qualifying candidates must hold a degree in computer science and must have excellent written and oral communication skills. The person has to have requisite problem-solving skills, should be an independent decision maker and a great team maker.

Telecoms Engineer

A Telecoms Engineer builds the telecommunications networks such a cell-phones and internet-related hardware for communication systems. The person is responsible for a range of duties some of which are the designing and provision of telecommunications equipments and systems, repair all the faulty equipment, and make sure that the new equipment is in compliance with the government norms as well as build/test prototypes of new equipment.

In addition to these, the person has to analyse the various needs of the different customers, help the organisation focus on the range of products being promoted, carry out research information, solve all related problems to the area of tele-communications, The person should be qualified with a tele-communications degree, supervise the installation and use of telecommunications equipment.

Besides these, the telecoms engineer must provide adequate training for company staff especially when new equipment is installed. The person also has to upgrade his/her skills in accordance with the new technology and identify how best it would benefit the organisation.
Qualifying candidates must hold a technical degree and have a minimum of a few years of work experience. Compensation and growth prospects are dependent on individual work records.
