Specialisation is also available in Training, General Nursing, Operation Theatre, Children, Therapy and Research. Besides a range of branches of specialisation, there also exist a range of Grades (Grades Q – Grade I) which help to distinguish amongst enrolled and auxiliary nurses, specialised nurses, senior nurses, nursing matrons, experienced nurses on the basis of their skills and experience which in turn defines their compensation as well.
Persons pursuing Nursing as a career have to be physically and mentally strong, willing to work in shifts and long hours have a kind, patient and understanding demeanor, a strong sense of hygiene and caring.
One can acquire a Degree in all of the above mentioned branches of Nursing. There also are available 1 year full-time diploma courses which persons may choose to take up as their initial foray into this career. Satisfied persons can then work and study along the way.
