Grade F

All Grade F Nurses are responsible for providing the most efficient standards of nursing care to the patients allotted to them. A thorough knowledge of the various procedures, clinical practices and accurate usage of the equipment are essentials of all these individuals in area of work.

All qualifying candidates have to possess the requisite qualifications, foster healthy relationships with all their working counter-parts, have a very humanistic approach towards all the patients and work towards achieving the highest interests of the patients and the organisation.

Individuals must have a very positive attitude, a positive approach and endeavour to take complete clinical charge with regards to efficient use of the given resources, identify plausible opportunities to maximize the efficiency of staff, incorporate appropriate change mechanisms, support shared governance within the Directorate, take timely and appropriate action towards dealing with all formal and informal complaints made by both, patients and staff. The person is also responsible for training other personnel in the line of related work to deputise when the occasion arises.

A pleasing and caring attitude, a warm and friendly nature are the qualifying traits of such individuals. Compensation packages are highly competitive in the industry and one can grow towards better positions at a fast pace with a proven track record.

Grade G

A Grade G Nurse is responsible for assisting patients or the clients by providing them with adequate support and dignity in their daily living. The person will be responsible for providing direct nursing care with the support of a registered nurse.

Some important duties include the recording of the various visits made by the patients, planning and organising the workload, good management skills and the skills to prioritise the same accordingly. The person will be thoroughly trained to record any/all changes in the condition of the patients by an independent judgement and taking the initiative to administer the requisite treatment either by the authorized Doctor or in consultation with the appropriate authority.

Other important duties include managing the personal hygiene of the various patients, reporting any abnormalities to a registered nurse and providing the patients with extra support via the care-taking individuals especially employed for the same. Confidentiality, maintaining good safety and health measures and accurate maintenance of records are part of this job function.

In addition to this, the person is responsible for assisting and planning appropriate services for patients who have difficulty with their diet taking care to ensure that they are being given the right kind of foods and supplement. Special care treatment will also be given to patients suffering from psychological condition/ trauma and dispensing the correct medication to them will form an important responsibility of this job function.

Individuals in this category are normally in the grade of a Sister-in-Charge or a Nurse and must have compassion and a patient bearing. Persons must have requisite knowledge and be qualified from an established institute. Prior work experience is advantageous and a person can earn a substantial compensation package with a proven work record.

Grade H

All Grade H Nurses shoulder the responsibility for providing accurate nursing care and co-ordinated rehabilitation treatment, information, advice on healthcare for adults. These adults could be aged between 16 and 64 years.

The individuals must possess and offer a health promoting approach by providing information, advice and support to clients and others (regular visitors and care-takers), to promote optimum health, independence and assist in maximising individual potential.

All Grade H individuals are expected to maintain strict confidentiality about the patients they take care of, the members of staff and other health authorities, maintenance of the best health measures, appropriate management of the budget, training and development forecast, recruitment and selection, coordinating and supervising the efforts of the team members and giving effective training in requisite nursing skills to the next in hierarchy to deputise when the occasion arises.

Compensation is dependent upon the nursing grade of the individual and growth prospects are dependent entirely on the efforts and inputs of each individual.

Grade I

All Grade I Nurses are responsible for maintain very high standards of nursing and quality of caring for their patients. Grade I nurses have to be impeccable on quality care and support the senior Sisters and the other nurses in the team.

You will be responsible for ensuring high standards of care and quality of patient experience The person has to have the ability to motivate their juniors, prioritize their duties and ensure that all the assigned budgets are efficiently and honestly managed according to the policies laid down by the organisation.

All qualifying individuals must have the academic qualifications combined with a work experience of at least 3 years experience at a senior level. These persons must have really good oral and written communication skills and must have the compassion to understand and relate to every patient’s individual situation. Grade I nurses are given ample opportunities to develop their skills for fulfilling the requirements of their role.

Overseas Qualified

Overseas Qualified nurses are welcome in England though the guarantee a job is not always assured.

In most cases organisations which are ‘Trusts’ prefer to recruit individuals from within the UK itself and overseas candidates take a backseat in the selection process.

Direct recruitment for overseas candidates is possible in some special cases where the persons have specialized skills in areas of dentistry, radiography, audiology, old age psychology, radiology, or are consultants in accident and emergencies, anaesthesia, child and adolescent psychiatry and hematology.


Those who seek employment in Trusts or organisations like the National Health Service must possess appropriate qualifications and should get themselves registered with the appropriate professional body.
