A Personnel Officer plays the role of offering a seamless HR service across the organisation. The individual’s chief role is focused towards recruitment, employee relations and the HR projects.
A Personnel Officer has to manage and coordinate employee recruitment through liaison with internal managers and external agencies. An Internal Verifier has to ensure accurate delivery of NVQ’s (national vocational qualification) and Key Skills within the said time-frames and in accordance with company procedures. An Internal Verifier fulfills the role of an advisor, supporter and trainer to both Assessors and junior internal verifiers.
An Internal Verifier has to sample and monitor assessments, plan the internal verification process, ensure one’s own assessment, hold regular meetings with Assessors and Verifiers, monitor all the practices of how assessments are made to ensure requisite quality.
The other duties include a maintenance of records, assurance of the quality of assessment, strong vigil and ensuring on the quality of the systems and documentation which are used in the organisation as well as their compliance with the requirements of the organisation. An Internal Verifier has to efficiently liaise with external verifiers and awarding bodies, implement and complying with the Organisation’s Health & Safety as also the Equal Opportunities Policies.
The qualifying candidate must have a basic college degree. Work experience of at least 2-3 years is a must and the person must hold the D34 Qualification. The areas of operations of an Internal Verifier are wide-ranging and include Retail, Customer Service and Warehousing, Engineering and a host of other industries as well.

Management Development Trainer |

A MDA (Management Development Trainer) is responsible for the designing, delivery and evaluation of a variety of management development training courses catering to all the levels of the management team.
The person has to confer with the management, conduct surveys to recognise and understand the training needs. These will be based on the production changes, process and other factors which are projected. An MDA is responsible for training the supervisors in techniques and skills for training and interacting with the employees. The person has to prepare a training budget for the organisation, review and evaluate the training and apprenticeship programs for compliance with the government standards.

National Vocational Qualifications Assessor |

An NVQ Assessor is chiefly to assess the new candidates’ knowledge, understanding and work-based performance to make sure they can demonstrate competence in the work place. An NVQ Assessor has to possess the relevant expertise to deliver and assess any additional underpinning knowledge which may not have been provided by the said organisation. A Personnel and Development Trainer is solely responsible for analysing the training needs of the personnel in the different departments of an organisation and develop new training programs or else modify the existing ones to cater to the requirements.
Some of the key responsibilities of this person are to conduct both technical and non-technical training programmes for the staff members and arrange for personal development courses. These could be in the form of seminars, workshops, inviting guest speakers who have specialised skills in the said areas of work.
